Marla Lerner Tanenbaum

Marla Lerner Tanenbaum serves as chairperson of the Washington Nationals Dream Foundation and as president of her family’s philanthropic foundation, The Annette M. and Theodore N. Lerner Family Foundation, which has distributed millions of dollars in the capital region.

She is also currently the chair of the board for the Koby Mandell Foundation which sponsors healing programs and camps for children who have lost family to acts of terror in Israel; immediate past chair of the Anti-Defamation League’s Washington DC region; a member of the Children’s Hospital Foundation Board; a member of the National Board of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem; and a former board member of Food and Friends, an organization which serves the needs of people living with HIV/AIDS and other life-challenging illnesses in the Washington, DC, metropolitan community.

Marla received her BA from Newcomb College of Tulane University, her Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University National Law Center and attended the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
